VICTORIA T. FERRARA - PRINCIPAL
A graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, Attorney Victoria T. Ferrara has been practicing law in Fairfield County for over 20 years. During that time, she has successfully handled jury trials for injury and contract cases, and has represented numerous clients who have been through divorce, legal separation and custody matters. She has mediated family matters and divorces and has been appointed as a Special Master to mediate cases for the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate study at Fairfield University where she graduated with a B.A., Magna Cum Laude.
Attorney Ferrara has published articles in various periodicals and she has given presentations on family law, dissolution of marriage, child custody and parenting to the Connecticut Psychological Association. She has also litigated and settled numerous personal injury and accident cases in order to obtain the maximum compensation for injured clients. Early in her career she was an attorney at the law firm of Bai Pollock and Dunnigan where she practiced in the area of insurance defense thereby obtaining experience and knowledge of insurance company practices and operations. She has represented numerous corporate clients including GE ImageSpan, Inc., Flight Services Group, Inc., and Priority Mortgage Group, Inc., as well as many individual clients. Publications include: Submitting Charges to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, Greater Bridgeport Bar Association Newsletter (February, 2000); Disability and Estate Planning for the Terminally Ill, Connecticut Bar Association Estates and Probate Newsletter (1993); and, Preparing the Medical Expert for Deposition, Cardiac Accents, Volume 1, No. 2 (Fall, 1989).
In addition, she has served as president of the Mid-Fairfield AIDS Project; as a member of the Sacred Heart University Board of Regents; and as the Vice Chairman of Legal Affairs for the Westport/Weston Chamber of Commerce. Attorney Ferrara is currently on the Board of Directors for the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, she is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association as well as the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, and she is on the affiliate faculty at Sacred Heart University where she teaches business law.
JEREMY F. HAYDEN - ASSOCIATE
Also a member of Quinnipiac University School of Law's Class of 2005, Attorney Jeremy Hayden joined the law firm as an associate in 2009. He is licensed in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Attorney Hayden graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac, where he served as Publications Editor for Law Review. During law school, he received numerous awards for academic excellence, including: Excellence in Legal Writing; Distinguished Academic Achievement, Federal Civil Procedure; Distinguished Academic Achievement, Bankruptcy; Distinguished Academic Achievement, Administrative Law; Distinguished Academic Achievement, State Constitutional Law; Distinguished Academic Achievement, Connecticut Civil Procedure; Superior Classroom Performance; Academic Excellence; and Service to the Law School. In 2006, he argued and obtained an Appellate Court reversal on behalf of a small business client. See 96 Conn. App. 14 (2006).
Jeremy's focus will be primarily in the areas of collections, civil litigation, landlord/tenant law (evictions), state appellate practice, and real estate. Jeremy is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
BETH ANNE FERRARO - FIRM MANAGER
Beth Anne Ferraro joined the firm on a part-time basis in October of 2007 and began full-time in June of 2008. Beth Anne earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Besides managing her home, family and many community services, Beth Anne brings 10 years Executive Assistant / Office Management experience to the firm.
